| In January 2009, I produced a 10-part viral video campaign for Stetson Hats in association with the Denver based ad-agency Pure. I traveled down the East Coast to Washington D.C. with the mission of delivering a Stetson Dress Hat to President Barack Obama for his Inauguration.
The campaign was designed to raise awareness of Stetson’s Brand and Line of Quality Dress Hats.Through the website HatforObama.com, I broadcast daily film updates, wrote frequent blog articles, and posted photos from my journey. The project was a great success — in addition to delivering the hat to Obama’s team, my journey was covered by both local and national press. |

| Photography. I recently sold some of my photography to Law & Order’s Art Department. The photographs will most likely be used as art in the production of the show’s sets and props. | |

| NutritionResearchCenter.org provides natural health news and information to the public and sells high-quality whole food supplements online.
Website + Blog. I’ve worked with them since their launch in 2001 to develop their brand as a trusted online health resource. In that time, I created a daily health blog and established an archive of past articles that receive thousands of visitors daily. Online Store. In 2005, I launched their successful online store offering nutritional supplements, health and beauty products and environmentally friendly cleaners to the public. Email Marketing. I also run the site’s Email Marketing Campaigns – designing, editing and dispatching a weekly email health newsletter to hundreds of subscribers. |

| I began working with Q’s Restaurant in 2006 when they asked me to redesign their Website. I set out to create a sophisticated, elegant style that reflects their status as one of Boulder’s premier fine dining establishments.
Video Preview. I’ve also produced and directed a 2-minute Video Preview for Q’s, showcasing their charming atmosphere and signature style. The video preview is available online on their CityLightsGuide.com profile. Food Photography. I did a photoshoot with Q’s to capture the savory sights of chef John Platt’s cuisine. The restaurant frequently uses the photos in their advertising and the shots have been featured in Denver’s ‘Dining Out Guide.’ Email Marketing. I continue to manage Q’s Email Marketing efforts. In addition to designing the look of their email newsletters, I layout and send their monthly missives. |

| WEBSITE DESIGN. In 2006, On Broadway Hair Studio + The Boulder Spa hired me to redesign their website. Due to budget constraints, we only made minor adjustments, but made them where they counted most. In addition to updating the navigation, I redesigned the home page to be more appealing to the salon’s customers with attractive, vivid photos mixed with a compelling layout.
VIDEO PREVIEW. In 2007, I produced and directed a video preview for the salon, showing off their unique setting at the foothill of the rockies, their full day spa and top-notch salon. EMAIL NEWSLETTER. In 2009, I setup On Broadway’s email list system on their website and designed an attractive newsletter template for them with room for news, beauty tips, coupons and special events. | GRAPHIC DESIGN – CHOCOLATE LABELS. Skintopia by Bina is a high-quality retailer of healthy goods and products. When they were launching their own Organic Chocolate Bar, Skintopia approached me to design the full-color Bina Bar label. I incorporated their logo – a golden, two-trunked elephant and elaborated on the motif with custom-elephant artwork and Indian patterns.
In 2008, Skintopia contacted me again to design the label for their upcoming Bina Boost Energy Drink line. This time they wanted an edgier, graffiti-inspired design. It was a lot of fun to play around with that design, using wild fonts and bright, neon colors to create a label that was attractive and appealing within the parameters. |

| Over the years, I’ve done a lot of work for NutriPlex Formulas – manufacturer of high-quality whole food supplements. WEBSITE. I built the NutriPlex Formulas website with a CMS system that allows for easy updates by the NutriPlex Administrative team. It is clean and professional looking as befits a corporate healthcare company. GRAPHIC DESIGN. I have designed many print pieces for NutriPlex, including Brochures, Business Cards, Direct Mail Pieces to their network of doctors, Product Catalogs and more. EMAIL MARKETING. I manage and designed NutriPlex’s monthly emails – one to Health care Professionals and another with Public Company News. PASSWORD-PROTECTED SECTION. Since NutriPlex only sells directly to Healthcare Practictioners, they wanted a section of their website that only pre-approved doctors could access with DOWNLOADS, a WHOLESALE ONLINE STORE, and a DOCTORS-ONLY FORUM. I built all these features and put it behind a password-protected section where the company can add an infinite number users and passwords – one per customer. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY. NutriPlex hired me to photography all their products against a white background for crisp, clean photos that would belong in their catalog and on their website. |

| Writer and Musician Tommy Wallach has been published in magazines such as McSweeney’s, Tin House and Wired.com. He is currently signed with Decca Records as a Recording artist.
LOGO and BRANDING. One of the first things I did for Tommy Wallach was design a logo that highlighted his unique blend of talents – a piano/typewriter hybrid. WEBSITE/BLOG. Tommy constantly needs to feature new content on his site – music videos, articles he’s written, and various news items. Taking that into account, I designed his site in the style of a blog — where the home page would always show the latest post, sorting content by category. That said, I also included a few consistent, static pages offering the visitor information about Wallach and his interests. The site was all constructed in a format where Tommy can add, update and change posts himself any time without any knowledge of coding or web design. |

| LOGO + LABEL DESIGN. Following my work for Skintopia by Bina, Aztec Chocolates hired me to create the label design for their own top-notch Organic Chocolate line. I helped them to discover a style rooted in the ancient Central American Aztec culture with original logo artwork. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY. After the labels were complete and printed, Aztec contacted me again to photography their wrapped, chocolate bars. We decided on a lush green rainforest-like setting with large, green leaves surrounding the bars. The photos are used in all their sales-pieces and on their website. |

| LOGO/BRAND. NutritionBikes is an online reseller of health products for high-performance athletics. I designed a distinctive logo for them — accenting their commitment to both healthy/green living and bicycling.
BUSINESS CARDS. Next, NutritionBikes.com asked me to design their business cards — where I carried over the green theme and gave them a slick, professional full-color card. WEBSITE/BLOG. I also designed and built NutritionBikes.com — featuring a CMS that allows the company to update pages and photos on the site themselves any time they need to do so. One section of their site is in a blog format, both allowing for original post and automatically IMPORTING POSTS from a partnered third-party external blog on a regular basis. |

| WEBSITE. I built AngelHorner.com for Angel Horner, an individual healthcare practitioner who wanted to connect with her patients online and provide a solid internet presence. Again, I built Angel Horner’s site so that she could update it herself and add information at any point without knowledge of coding or design. Whatever changes are made, the layout and format is protected and unchanged. ONLINE STORE. I also created a SECURE Online Store for AngelHorner.com where her patients from around the country can buy supplements. Their enter their information and credit cards are processed safely on site. Afterwards, they are sent an invoice by email and can log-in at anytime to check their order status (which Angel can update(. |

| COMPLEX SITE ARCHITECTURE. CityLightsGuide is perhaps the most complicated project I’ve undertaken to date. I conceived and designed the site from scratch. CityLightsGuide.com is a Social Network website that connects people with the local businesses they love through their friends.
DIRECTORY and FEATURES.The site spans hundreds of different pages, a directory of restaurants and more in 20 major U.S. cities, and involves complex features like events, invitations, RSVP services, video uploads, photo uploads, coupon creation, user profiles, business profiles, adding profiles to favorites, adding friends, reviews, blog posts and much more. USER PROFILES. Within the site, users login to their accounts and update their information themselves from home — offering businesses a whole new advertising platform that gives them control over their online presence and allows them to reach new customers through online word of mouth. MARKETING and ADVERTISING. I’ve also managed and created all the marketing and advertising for CityLightsGuide – including, a 3-minute ANIMATED VIDEO TOUR PRESENTATION of the site’s Paid Featured Listing Opportunities. |

| DESIGN CAMPAIGN. I managed all the print materials for the Boulder Safehouse’s 2007 Chocolate Lovers’ Fling — an annual, high-profile fundraising event that supports the Safehouse’s efforts to protect abused women and children in the Boulder Community.
GRAPHIC DESIGN. I discounted my services dramatically to assist the Fundraiser and designed many different pieces such as: an Advance Save the Date Card and Envelope, an Official Invitation and Envelope, A Sales Piece to Attract Advertisers in the Event’s Program, the Event Program/Auction Catalog itself, Chocolate Wrappers for Donated Chocolates, Newspaper Advertisements and more. DIGITAL PRESENTATION. On a separate occassion, I donated my services to Direct and Produce a 5-minute Film with photos and music to showcase statistics and raise awareness about Domestic Violence for the Safehouse. |

| GEOS Global is an international financial firm based in Boulder, CO.
WEBSITE DESIGN. GEOS Global contacted me to build a website for them in a Rush. They had a deadline and needed a quality site up and fast! I worked quickly to construct an attractive, conservative-looking site that reflected their international status and the crisp professionalism of their field. From start to finish, I completed the project in less than 5 days, well ahead of their rush deadline. |

| CrossFit Roots is a full affiliate of CrossFit — a workout system based in Boulder, Colorado. The team at the Boulder location is devoted to natural, down to earth, back to basics fitness and are very dedicated to helping their members achieve results.
LOGO DESIGN. CrossFit Roots wanted a logo design that spoke to their natural ideals — they were not just another gym promoting an image of being dark and badass. They were friendly and had a healthy attitude toward fitness. I crafted a logo to speak to that message: Earth Tones, Blue Figures for sky, Green for grass over the Brown of the Soil. WEBSITE and BLOG DESIGN. We continued this visual motif on their website. The site had to be built for frequent use as they have a strong online community. On the home page, I added an custom, updatable Flash photo gallery, a block showcasing their latest twitter post in the sidebar, easy email signup and most importantly a constantly updated blog with user comments. The blog page even has a custom category submenu to make it easier to navigate. |

| Looking Glass Arts is a non-profit that seeks to introduce young people to expressing themselves through filmmaking. They run multiple workshops for high school students each year as well as a 3-week Summer Intensive program where student produce their own short films in collaboration with acting and composing students.
GRAPHIC DESIGN. Looking Glass Arts approached me about designing collateral for their upcoming 2009 filmmaking intensive. They needed a variety of materials: posters, brochures, and one-sheets. I gave the project a consistency in tone — upbeat, warm, fun — using the colors from their logo and also an air of sophistication. Elements that would appeal to their youth audience, but also professional looking to impress their parents who would be supporting the program. FILM INSTRUCTION. In addition to helping with graphic design, I have also been an instructor with Looking Glass Arts. I taught their 3-week Summer intensive in 2008, instructing students on everything from screenwriting, storyboarding, lighting, cinematography, directing actors and editing. The students were smart, creative and eager to learn. It was perhaps one of the most rewarding experiences in which I’ve had the pleasure to take part. |

| Plan-O-Matic is an innovative startup company based in Boulder, CO. They produce dynamic, fully-interactive floor plans for real estate and put together a complete visual presentation with high-res photos online.
GRAPHIC DESIGN. Plan-O-Matic approached me to design a full-color promotional card to promote their latest site revision. I worked to match the color scheme and design to that of their website while also adding visual flair to capture the viewer’s attention. The result was an impactful 2-sided, full-color glossy card communicating their message and remaining consistent with their branding. |
